This is the chance for you to flaunt what’s on your wall!
What’s hanging over your sofa? What’s behind your headboard?
Show off that fave quilt Aunt Frannie gave you!
Showcase a special grandchild’s drawing.
It’s up to you…

This week….I wanna share a new craft project, and I will preface
this post by saying I am HOOKED!
I have some other projects in the works that I will also
share in a few days.
But…it all started out by a blank wall on each side of a mounted
plate shelf in my kitchen. I have some vintage kitchen prints,
but wanted something (?) under each print to create balance.
hmmmm…..
So I gathered some supplies….
Once I had the moss glued on, I used some sheers
and just gave it a little trim around the edges for a crisper look.
Then, I glued on a raffia bow….
To a black and white polka dot bow.
Much better!
Then, laying in my craft box I saw these little
scrapbooking cards I had used on a previous project.
Sorry the lighting isn’t better here – but it’s a bright, sunny
North Carolina day and the sun was just streaming through
these windows. No matter how I tried –
I couldn’t get a great pic. But, I think you get the idea…
Get those porches, pizers, porticos, vernadas

Barb, you just constantly amaze me. How creatie is this. I love the moss covered letter, and the black and white bow with the sticker is so perfect. It was beautiful hanging on the wall, but it is even better hanging on the window. Love it. What a great idea for a gift too. Hugs, Marty

Wow Barb, that’s a really great idea. I saw someone do that recently where they dangled it from a big bow on the front of a big mirror – that looked pretty too. I think they used boxwood greens, but I like the moss better for all-year round use. Great tip!

I really like the “G” on the window — love how it’s in such sharp silhouette.
And the reason the moss looks funky is because it knows its picture was being taken, and it’s toying with you. Inanimate objects — we only THINK they don’t mess around with us!
Hope it was OK that I featured an outdoor wall today!

Hi Barb…
Girl, you got it “goin’ on”!!! What an awesome craft project…and it looks fabulous on your wall…and the window!!!
Ooooh…I really want to try this project! I love letter initials and I love the moss!!! You know, the raffia bow was really pretty but when I seen the black and white polka dot bow…I just knew that was the one!!! Especially since the initial was hanging right next to that pretty black shelf!!! And just when I thought it couldn’t get any prettier…out came that beautiful scrapbook tag…I love it!!! It’s perfect!!! You gave a great tutorial too…very clear and precise instructions! Thank you so much for sharing this awesome craft with us! I can’t wait to get to Michaels and find my letter initial (oooh, hope they have a L!)
Warmest wishes,
