It’s Summer here in Eastern North Carolina.
Well, maybe not “officially” but according to
the temperatures – Summer has arrived.
Here in the South, we love Summer.
If we’re not at the Beach which is about 15 minutes away,
we’re on the Front Porch or on the Back Deck.
We’re in “Deck Fluffing Mode” here at
The Everyday Home, so I did a “P-search”
(aka Pinterest searching) to get some ideas.
Here is what I found…
Budget Ideas for Decks
#1: Create Outdoor “Lanterns” with Recycled Wine Bottles
Who doesn’t love ideas that won’t put a hurting on
your debit card. Or, in my case, my Lowe’s card.

View CommentWell. First of all, I see you are in eastern NC. I am originally from the country, about 50 miles east of Greenville, near Washington. I am also in the process of updating my deck and having a new one built. So, we have a lot in common!

We love Washington and when we were trying to decide where to retire twelve years ago, we actually looked at one of the historical homes on the water. Our best friends live in Williamston so we travel thru there often. Small world, huh? 🙂
