Three Easy DIY Fall Picture Frames
I love to display seasonal pictures of my grandbabies. This year, I crafted three easy Fall Picture Frames which are very easy to create and require very few supplies.
I love to craft. I love the process of starting with something basic and a few minutes later you have created a one-of-a-kind object that is a reflection of your home and your style. Take these picture frames, for example. I found these plain frames half-price at Hobby Lobby. I originally bought them because the frame looked like reclaimed wood, which I liked.
While walking through the store I spied a bag of mini pumpkins in the Fall section and that got my mind to working. (My poor, poor mind. I never give it one moment’s piece and I blame it partially on places like Hobby Lobby.) 😀
I immediately thought the mini pumpkins would look cute adhered to the frame. But, I didn’t want to create three frames with the same look. So, I kept shopping and quickly gathered enough supplies to create three totally different frames – all within a Fall theme.
It did not take long to put these together. They were the perfect touch to our Breakfast Room.

Resources to Create These Frames:
Fall Frame #1: Faux Acorns and Moss
I am not sharing step-by-step tutorials because I think these projects are basically self explanatory. I just used a hot glue gun to attach the items directly to the frames.
This frame below was the most time consuming because of adding the tiny little bits of moss between each acorn, but it was well worth the effort. Don’t you think?
Fall Frame #2: Faux Pumpkins and Moss
I decided not to completely cover the frame as I did with the acorns. Instead I added moss and mini pumpkins to each corner.
Fall Frame #3: Mini Pinecones and Berries
I used a small remnant of a berry garland I had laying around. I may exchange the fall berries for solid red berries at Christmas time.
That’s how easy these projects were. You may use any combination of the items that I have used, and you may also choose to cover only a portion of the frame or all of it.
That is the best part of crafting. YOU create the design! 🙂
