Fall Decorating is under way at
The Everyday Home.
I always host the family
Thanksgiving dinner, so I love to fill my home
with the colors of the season.
Last Friday, I shared with you some stems
of millet I had cut last week near
“My Farmhouse.”
I used these new buckets from my shop, “details!”
and I am so in love with them.
I used the middle “No 2” bucket.
I will share the larger arrangement I made
later this week.
I started by filling the bucket with floral foam.
… and covered it with layer of moss.
Then, I just started poking, and adding, and
layering and filling…
Hydrangeas, mini faux pumpkins,
grapevine pumpkins –
I added grapevine and of course, some millet.
And finally, when I thought the bucket
could not possibly hold one more stem…
I finished with this …
I draped my breakfast table with some burlap,
and added a few more faux pumpkins
at the base, along with a wood candlestick.
As soon as the real pumpkins and
gourds arrive, I can easily switch out
the faux for the real.
(I am kinda surprised they are not already in the market!)
My breakfast room is surrounded by
blues and whites, but there is also some
chocolate – so in a strange way it all
works together.
I can’t wait for you to see Bucket No. 1
🙂
It’s been a wonderful weekend.
I have some great Fall projects to share…
~ Homemade Crock Pot Pumpkin Butter
~ Gluten-Free Banana Walnut Bread
~ My new Coffee Station with
Numbered Coffee Cups
~ My new breakfast room curtains!
(you will love where I got them!)
I can’t wait to share all of this with you.
Watch for a great give-away this week too!
I will be giving away a cute little
French Farmhouse cutie.
Have a wonderful week, my friends!

View CommentBeautiful arrangements. Love the buckets.
View CommentLooks like you are well on your way! I love your buckets and I am intrigued by the millet. When I was at Lake Erie last month I cut some dried brown stuff that was along the lake. I think it might be millet! I need to go look at it and compare it to yours. Thanks for a wonderful post!

Your buckets are to drool for. Shame I am a miles of miles away from your store.
