Update on the Update!!! π
The surgeon just left the recovery center where Bill was placed yesterday and we are coming home today!!!!
The pic above is one of his “walks” when he gave the nurse a “workout.” π
I took more pics but he threatened me with bodily harm if I posted them to the blog.
The pic above will be our little secret. LOL
03-10-09 Update on Mr Grits!!!
Yoohoo! We are coming home tomorrow if he continues to make good progress today. His pain and swelling/soreness are still an issue, but we can deal with the pain at home in a more comfortable environment. I have a hospital bed waiting for him at home, sitting right in front of his big screen TV. (He may never “feel” better. again) LOL
I just want to get him home, away from this “facility” (and I use that term lightly) so I can take good care of him. π
Thanks again for all your kind emails and posts here on the blog. I appreciate your generous thoughts and prayers more than you know, and look forward to when I can get back into Blogland in a few days.
Warmest Regards….Barb

Praying for you and that sweet man day by day and you help him to get better the same way…just take one day at a time and look for the improvement in that single day. God bless you both.

Barb,I hope you forgive me. I somehow missed about your hubby or it just slipped my mind. That’s been known to happen to me once in awhile.
It’s good to hear Mr Grits is going home. J has been in the hospital over 20 times in the last 20 years. He’s had various surgeries with the last being for cancer last year. I have a little bit of an idea how tiring and stressful your life has been. And I know how going home can be the best medicine sometimes. All my best to you and Mr Grits.
I’ll try to keep up with things a little better in future! Thoughts and prayers with you!
