Comment on Finding My Blogging Center by Atta Girl Amy.
I knew you were struggling with this, but I didn’t realize how close you came to calling it quits. I am so happy that you didn’t, my friend, because you are so entertaining and creative and inspiring.
I think many of us are coming to the same realization — that quality posts (and quality of life) are more important than quantity. I, too, have been cutting back — maybe not as deliberately as you. But I haven’t really been worrying about posting — and it’s felt good. Instead, I’ve spent the time creating. Yesterday, I spent the day painting, and I created several things that I’m really proud of. And it felt so good! And those are things I can share on the blog, proudly — so win-win!
You are a workaholic, my dear friend, so I hope you will remember to revisit this post weekly to keep yourself balanced and unstressed and most importantly — happy!
Now, let’s schedule a play date!

Easter Egg Bark Candy
This looks amazing — and easy to make! Candy making is so tricky. I won’t tell you about the “blackened” toffee I made this one time. Ick and a waste of a lot of sugar.
No Sew Moss Pillow & $600 Visa Giveaway
When you were telling me about this project, i didn’t know quite what to envision. But this pillow is AWESOME! So adorable. I want one, too, and you know, my last name is Buchanan. And my favorite color is pink — so I’ll just take yours! ๐
Dollar Store Desserts
Yum indeed! This looks delicious, and so much easier to make than a traditional black forest cake. But I bet it tasted as good — or better — than the takes-all-day version.
When I make this — and I will — I’m going to have to recruit my little dumper to help me. Kids are good at dumping, just not so good at cleaning up.
Thanks for including me in this month’s challenge!
Easy Moss Covered Orb
Cute, cute, cute. I haven’t seen that textured paint yet. Gotta try me some of it.
And are you sure it’s only moss you’re growing in your backyard. ๐ JK.
How to Make an Easy Double-Ribbon Bow
I struggle to make bows, so I am definitely pinning and bookmarking this tutorial. I usually just run next door and ask my neighbor to do it for me, but now I think I can do it myself. (Girl, I even own a Bowdabara and haven’t been able to create a bow that I truly love. But now I know your secrets. Thanks for sharing.)
