It’s Apple Picking Season !
That means a few things.
It’s almost Fall!
—-> Yay Fall! <—–
And that means it’s also time to start decorating
with Fall decor, and apples, at The Everyday Home.
A few days ago, I shared an area of my newly
decorated Urban Farmhouse Breakfast Room.
I am going to show you how I easily updated the
current wreath with some apples ‘n berries.

A few days ago, I shared this area of my Breakfast Room…

I also shared 5-Easy Arrangements for my “new”
Blue and White Staffordshire Soup Tureen.
Now, I am slowly starting to add some touches of Fall,
and for some reason, I always start in our Kitchen.
It seems that everything always starts in our Kitchen.
😀
I have decided to add splashes of red, and what
better way than with apples.

Farmhouse Breakfast Room | The Everyday Home
I started with adding a wire and burlap-lined basket with
fluffy green moss and red apples – placed on top of the
vintage, wood card catalog that sits on the black chest.
The silk eucalyptus wreath perfectly frames “Cleetus.”

Apples Wreath Update | The Everyday Home
I dug thru my Fall Bins and found these mini apples.
I used wooden skewers for “picks” so I could simply stick
them right into the grapevine backing. No glue!

There was no rhyme or reason to the placement.
A few in front and a few tucked in the back
amongst the greenery.

Another foray into my Fall bins produced some cute
berry picks. These were interspersed throughout, as well.

A simple burlap bow with navy stitching was the final touch.
I love how the navy stitching ties into the blue and white plates.
And that’s it.
A 10-Minute Project that creates an entirely different look and
feel for both the wreath and this area of the Breakfast Room.

Cleetus is looking mighty fine! Don’t tell him, but I hear they stuff an apple in a pig’s mouth when they roast them 🙁 With him being in the kitchen with apples around his neck, he might start putting two and two together . . .
View Commenttoo funny xx
View CommentLOL that is exactly what my hubby said when I was making it. He said to pop one in his mouth. I said Cleetus was not a cooking pig he was a looking pig. 🙂 I loved being part of Farmhouse Friday with you. Have a blessed weekend, Barb

View CommentOh, so pretty and love cleetus…..where would i find such a cute piggie? I have the sweetest pink ceramic pig the size of a real small pig sitting under my desk, love him too. Once a man who was in our house asked me if we had farm animals in every room. we do. 🙂
View CommentI thought about it and I think we have a farm animal in each room, too. More than one if you consider the cats. LOL I used to sell these in my online shop, Farmhouse Decor. I sold it to a friend and you can still shop there at http://www.farmhouseshopdecor.com . You will love it. 🙂
