It’s that time of year again… Party, Party, Party.
When you are part of a large Southern family, you will use
any reason to get together and cook and eat.
“You de-flea’d your dog? Well, heavens to Betsy come
on over and I’ll throw a ham in the oven and we’ll celebrate.”
“You bought a new truck? Well, slap me with butter and
call me a biscuit – we’ll fry some fish and peel some shrimp
and celebrate your newest family member.”
My daughter-in-law and I are now in the process of planning
my grandson’s 4th birthday party. FOUR!!!??? Can you
believe our Little Roo is turning four? He was born Oct 29th.
I teased my DIL that she only had a child close to Halloween
because she loves this holiday, and it is a reason to have
a party.
A Halloween Birthday Carnival.
With some ghoulishly-good foods.
With some ghoulishly-good foods.
Because our beloved “Roo Bear” is the sweetest
little “devil” we know.
I think these snacks will “sweeten” the night. Don’t you?
If you missed out on our Virtual Halloween Party yesterday…
… it’s not too late to “fly” on over and take a look at all
the great ideas.
Here is my menu I shared –
