It’s midweek, and that means it time to flaunt your stuff….
your wall stuff that is.
I know that most of you think of
What’s On Your Wall Wednesday
as an “Interior” event.
But it’s not …
What’s on your garden walls?
What’s on the walls of your office?
You can share anything – and I guess the only caveat is that
it should at least be something that is hanging.
(oh wait…maybe not EVERYTHING that is “hanging.”)
😀
Before we begin – I need to interrupt this scheduled broadcast
to make a few announcements.
1) I’m sure most of you know that Mr. Linky kinda spoiled
our Porch Party yesterday. (Boo, Hiss, Boo Mr. Linky)
But, I am happy to announce that Mr. Linky sobered up
straightened up and he is back up and running.
If you did not get a chance to add your link, please
do so. And if you did not get a chance to visit all the
new participants who joined after Mr Linky sobered up
got back online, please make sure you do.
There are some wonderfully, talented ladies out there.
2) Second announcement – and the I will hush up!
Because so many people have been experiencing bad weather over
the past few days/weeks and could not participate – I have decided to
hold the Porch and Patio Party again in two weeks.
Not only, that – I think this would be a wonderful event to host
on a monthly basis.
I would love to see your porches and patios evolve from Pansies to
Pumpkins to a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
So mark your calenders – the next Porch and Patio Party will
be held on May 19th!!!
I will issue out new logos/buttons for you to add to your site,
if you are interested.
I will also make the announcement of the Winner of the Smith and Hawken planter on Thursday…as well as, the two Moss-Covered Monograms.
So good luck to everyone!
So good luck to everyone!
I will be quiet now….

This week…I am being a lot little lazy. I am sharing a small project
I just did.
(took me all of 5 minutes)
(took me all of 5 minutes)
This is a picture of a plate I purchased from
Southern Living at Home years ago.
It is an extremely versatile plate. I have used it at Birthday’s, at Christmas,
at a Wedding Rehearsal dinner…
and all I do is simply use a dry erase marker to write a message.
The ribbon is changed according to the occasion.
But, when not being used in a more festive manner – this is where it hangs…
By the hutch in our Breakfast Room.
On the days I am mad at Mr Grits – other “more descriptive”
messages might appear. LOL
I wanted to share this because you will see this plate used
again for Tablescape Thursday.
So that’s it. I’m sorry I do not have anything more exciting to share.
Between Mr Linky being inebriated offline and my wonderful job in the Land-o-Real-Estate – its been a tough day.
See ya’ for Tablescape Thursday.
(if I get my act together)

please add your permalink below.
Let’s all say a small prayer that Mr Linky does not act up…again.
Thanks for stopping in!

Oh, I just love how Mr. Linkey went on that bender! He really has taken on a life of his own!
This is a very cool plate and oh, I would have some really choice messages to leave for the inhabitants of my abode!! 😉
Loved seeing your hutch and those coveted plates. I was drooling as I usually do over red and white!

Hello. I love reading your blog. I just wanted to let you know that after seeing plates like that on many blogs, I was dying to have that kind of plate. Apparently they are discontinued? There were some on eBay, but being on a budget, I decided to do some research to get the best deal possible. I discovered that Michael’s craft store carries a plate that looks just like that one. It is by Plaid Remarkables. It cost less than $15 I believe. They also had sqaure, heart, and a set of two smaller round ones. I am really happy with it. It comes with a clear stand, but I bought a black metal plate stand at Hobby Lobby to dress it up a little. I just wanted to pass that on in case any of you readers want to copy a piece of your style! Hope that’s OK! Take care.

Too bad Mr Linky is giving us fits again today. At least he is back up again so I can go a visiting everyone. I love your plate. I think it is a great idea to use dry erase marker on it so you can use it like a chalk board. And we always love seeing your hutch & all your goodies on it. Thanks for hosting these fun memes. Hopefully I’ll get my porch and/or patio all decked out for your next porch & patio party, but don’t hold your breath. lol.
