Moss.
There’s just something about it.
Textural. Tactile. Earthy.
I even love the smell. The essence of Mother Nature.
My favorite is reindeer moss.
Well, I use the word “moss” freely, as it is actually a lichen.
I used Moss on my Winter Mantle to add a touch of outdoors
to the vignette.
The uses for moss are unlimited. Look at these great
projects I found online.
Love this hanging candelier with a base of moss.
Simple painted pots planted with moss creates a cute display
for any table.
I love this picture frame with the combination of
moss and small shells.
Moss-covered initials. Fun!
Another cute moss pot.
Do you love moss too? Maybe you have a passion
for twigs or bird nests or maybe shells?
Great!

Moss? Oh yes! Moss, twigs, branches, berries, nests, acorns, pine cones, pine tassels, cedar, spruce, seed pods, large fungi, beaver chewed logs, deer sheds… Sand dollars, sea urchin shells, sea glass…..if Mother Nature puts it out there, I will find it and bring it in!
Your idea for a Wild About Mother Nature party is great! I can’t wait to see what everyone does!
