The past week was a bit crazy for me. Let’s just say not one of my better weeks health-wise. :-/
But, I am looking forward to some relaxing time in Pensacola, Florida this coming week and next week. So, although I won’t be here each day. I will be sharing some great posts this week – thanks to some fabulous Bloggy friends who are letting me feature some of their equally fabulous projects.
You ladies ROCK!
I thought I would start out the week with
“Make It Monday.” Here are five “fantabulous” handmade (and hand baked) projects I’m sure you will love as much as I do!
1) Dress Up a Bulletin Board with Pretty Papers!
My sweet friend Jessica at Mom 4 Real made this darling bulletin board for her daughter’s Cottage Bedroom Makeover.
I love that you can turn any ordinary and inexpensive bulletin board into a one-of-a-kind message center using basic craft papers. It could be customized to fit any design scheme or color palette.
And speaking of Cottage Bedrooms… make sure you check out the reveal of her daughter Kate’s, bedroom reveal. Wow!
2) Easy Lemon Cheesecake w/ Blueberry Topping
Did I have you at Cheesecake? 🙂
My sweet friend, Jane at Cottage at the Crossroads
shared an easy step-by-step tutorial on making a cheesecake from scratch. I have a confession.
I have NEVER made one of these from scratch. It’s something I have to try….
I see this as a win-win. I get to eat yummy cheesecake and then take beautiful pictures like the one above. 🙂 My mouth is watering!
3) French Grain Sack Table
I have another confession. (Maybe I should have called this “Confession Monday!”)
I swoon over anything French grain sack, and especially when its applied to furniture designs such as this cute table above. I have a small cabinet I am itching to try this technique on. Anne at White Lace Cottage gives me the inspiration I need.
I love the details. Anne got her graphics from
The Graphics Fairy, an incredible site also, by the way. I am soooo going to attempt this when I get back from Florida.
4) Spring Forsythia Wreath
I don’t know about you, but it still feels like Spring to me. I know Easter was yesterday, but it feels too early to start decorating for Summer. I love this Forsythia Wreath by Yvonne at Stone Gable. Whether you added the eggs and nest or not, it would still make a very pretty wreath that could last for a month or more until it is closer to Summer.
Yvonne shares a great tutorial for making your own wreath, too.
5) Mason Jar Twine Holder
I. Love. This. Project!
Elena at ‘a casarella came up with this super cute and creative way to store her Baker’s Twine. I can’t wait to create my own copy-cat version.
She uses ordinary items found at the hardware store, and gives a step-by-step tutorial to show you how you can create these Twine Holders, too.
