I have decided to start my own little “Pinning Party.”
No, no NOT a Pity Party – a Pinning Party. 🙂
As in Pinterest.
Each week, I will create an imaginary home,
going from room to room, using
going from room to room, using
various Pins that I have saved onto my Inspiration Boards.
Since I can’t afford to own but one home until I win the Lottery,
I will allow myself to dream and create a bunch of
Virtual Homes.
I invite you to come along with me for my
“Pinterest House Tour.”
This week, I am going to create a cute little
Seaside Cottage.
So come along with me, won’t you?
So come along with me, won’t you?
Isn’t this charming?
I thought so, too.
And how coincidental – its in Seaside, Florida.
Imagine that?
A Seaside Cottage in Seaside, Florida.
Love.
I added this cute, handmade sign. Perfect!
You are greeted by this charming enclosed front porch setting.
Vintage wicker, including a painted blue table set in
a beautiful seaside blue.
a beautiful seaside blue.
Come along and let me give you a little tour of the inside
of the cottage…
Here is the cozy Family Room decorated with a mixture of
neutrals and touches of blue.
Don’t you love the open white shelves with the blue background?
I wanted the kitchen to have modern conveniences but retain a
vintage feel. Carrara marble countertops, white cabinets and a
splash of color with subway tile in a pretty burst of sea blue.
I love causal family gatherings.
This built-in bench and trestle table works beautifully.
This next room is a back-up guest room, but I also use it
to relax after a day in the sun.
Perfect with a glass of cold lemonade and your favorite book.
There are two Guest Rooms.
I’ll let you choose which one you want to stay in.
Here is the first Guest Room…
…and your en suite bath –
…or you can sleep here –
This is my fave Guest Room.
I think you will like it here, too.
And here is the attached bathroom…
I have left lots of fluffy white towels for you…
…and here are some other needed bath essentials to
make your stay comfortable.
Once you get settled in, come on out to the back porch
and relax for a while as I fix our lunch…
I put out some refreshments for you…
I am so happy you could visit me at my Seaside Cottage…
I hope you enjoy all the special touches throughout…
Go ahead and relax, because tonight I have special
treat for dinner…
… but it’s a secret.
If you would like to see more Seaside and Coastal pins
which inspire me, please visit my Board called
“My Future Beach Home!”
Next week, we will visit one of my other “homes.”

What a fun idea to have a pinning party like this. I love the seaside home you selected. All of the rooms look so great. I wonder what the house would really look like if you joined all of the real rooms together! ha! It was such a pleasure meeting you tonight at dinner. You are so much fun and share my love of sweets! Hope the rest of your time spent at Haven is good too. I hope you will share some pics of your time spent at Haven.

I love every room you choose.. If you ever have it for sale- I’ll buy it:-)
That first guest room you posted is configured exactly like my bedroom. I presently have my bed on the opposite wall and would love to move it to be like your inspiration pic.
That home you Pinned together would definatly be a dream come true to live it.
