I love this part of Christmas…
… when all the stockings have been hung and the halls
have been decked. When the house is clean
once again and I can take a welcome sigh of relief.
Last week, I participated in a Christmas Tour
featuring some pretty amazing homes.
I wanted to spotlight a few of them here today.
I have also invited other bloggers to come
share their homes, as well.
So grab your hot beverage of choice, grab a cookie
(or three) and sit back and enjoy.
It’s Christmas!
All Through the House Christmas Tour of Homes
If you could walk through Pinterest and choose
your perfect home room by room, what would you choose?
Would you choose to be eclectic with every room a different
style and design – or would it be all the same throughout?
Either way – I think we can all agree that it would be heavenly.
So I thought it would be fun to create the perfect
Christmas House using some of the room from the fabulous
homes that were shared last week on the
All Through the House Tour.
You’re my special Guest on this imaginary tour,
and I couldn’t think of a better guest to have.
Let’s start on The Porch.
A perfect farmhouse porch – classically
decorated with fresh, green wreaths with red bows and a vintage sled.
{ From the Home of Rooms FOR Rent }
Please – won’t you come in…
Every home needs a beautiful entryway. Don’t you love
the banner draped with garland? How welcoming is this?
It’s a festive way to greet a guest, don’t you think?
Next – let’s head into the
Dining Room…
{from the home of The Everyday Home}
This Dining Room, just so happens to feature one of the
three Christmas Mantels in our home.
This one is decorated in Tartan Plaid and
Houndstooth Ribbons and frosted red berries.
Now follow me, we’re going into
The Kitchen.
{from the house of Worthing Court}
If you have a gorgeous Farmhouse Porch,
you have to also have a beautifully decorated
Farmhouse Kitchen to go with it. I can’t wait for us
to bake Christmas cookies in this beautiful space.
Oh yea…
Just behind the kitchen over there is where you can
take off your snow-covered boots in
The Mud Room.
{from the home of Craftberry Bush}
Now grab a cookie or two as we pass back thru the Kitchen
and let’s head into The Living Room, shall we?
{from the home of at the picket fence}
Don’t you love the handmade, sheet music banner and
the soft glow of the tree? Makes you want to stay in here
for a long while, doesn’t it? We’ll come back I promise, but
for now let’s go into The Family Room.
{from the home of AKA Design}
The Family Room is rustic and farmhouse and
cozy and everything you would expect a Family Room to be.
It says “kick your shoes off and settle in for a while.”
Now that you’ve seen the main part of the home,
come on upstairs and let me show you where you will be
staying while you’re here…
The Guest Room.
{from the home of Shades of Blue Interiors}
It’s as cozy as any bedroom could
possibly be. You even have your own tree.
Please make yourself at home.
We are so happy to have you as our Christmas Guest.
xxoo, Barb

Oh, Barb, I can’t tell you how glad I am to be here. I FINALLY got my Christmas home tour published today, just in time for your link party! Thank you so much for hosting this. It’s easy to get overwhelmed at Christmastime with so much to see and so much to do, so I appreciate your showing off some lovely homes in one spot. God bless you and yours this Christmas and always!
