We don’t go overboard for Valentine’s Day here at The Everyday Home.
The Hubbs and I usually go to dinner, or sometimes I fix him a special dinner we both love. I like to make homemade Valentine Cards for the boys to take to school, and maybe I will place a wreath on the door to celebrate the jour de l’amour – day of Love.
But gosh and golly I really do love these 20+ Projects for Valentine’s Day, and I love them because they are DIY for anyone. So this year, I may be adding some pillows and candles and moss heart art and well… take a look for yourself. 🙂 xxoo, Barb

Yay! I’m so excited – these are terrific. I love the driftwood heart (I’m not far from a beach) and especially love the treat bags made from maps. I have a small collection of both that I was saving for a project so those both may be in the near future.

I’m with you. I’m not one to decorate much for Valentine’s Day. But I absolutely adore the salvaged spindle heart! Thanks for sharing all of these ideas!

I don’t decorate either, although I do have a garden flag I need to put out. But all these cute projects make me want to do something! I shared for you on Pinterest and Facebook. oh! and I love the idea of you writing! I always have a book going, and most of the time it’s a romance. I love period pieces, and like for them to be in foreign countries. You GO, Girl! ….and thanks so much for the giveaway, Barb…. so generous of you!

Oh my faves are period pieces but they require a lot of research and I am a lazy girl. haha But, I do love reading them, too. Thanks for stopping by! ~ Barb

I loved everything! What great ideas. I have found myself not wanting to decorate for holidays any more, because all the kids are grown and gone. They all live in other states. I do love looking at all the things you do.

Hi Audrey – I do understand that, especially the smaller holidays like Valentine’s. I do try to add a cute pillow or a wreath but that’s about it. Maybe instead of looking at it that you are decorating for them, decorate for YOU!. 🙂 Have a great weekend, Barb

I’m with everyone else. I don’t usually decorate for Valentines Day either but our daughter and her son are staying with us until she gets back on her feet and my grandson would LOVE the countdown hearts! Thank you for all the ideas!

That’s a sweet thought. I did it last year and put a chocolate kiss in each little envelope for the grandbabies. Everyone needs a “kiss” at least once a a day right? 🙂 Have a great weekend, xxoo Barb

I usually don’t decorate much for Valentine’s Day, but these really easy to make ideas are changing my mind. Just a little banner hung in a window or across a headboard just looks so festive! Gonna do things this year.. thanks for the inspiration!

It just my husband and I …… but that’s what the day is all about -celebrating Love! I’d never miss a chance to do that ?

Hi Marilyn – nothing wrong with decorating for yourself. It’s the little things that make you happy. Thanks for stopping by. ~Barb

These are all really cute! The Love you More sign is probably my favorite. My husband and I say that all the time to each other. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas. I don’t decorate for Valentines but a cute little sign would be nice and I think I might get some extra smiles and hugs with it around.
