I went a little overboard with tablescapes this year.
I don’t usually create two tablescapes, but I found some dishes at the thrift store and could not help myself. Plus, I had an extra craft store pumpkin that just begged to be filled with succulents, so I was off and running. This tablescape features lots of traditional Fall colors, but this table has a very soft feel about it. So come on and let me share my Fall Tablescape in the Breakfast Room.
Breakfast Room Fall Tablescape
…………………………………………………………..
When I decided to put together this tablescape, I immediately had in mind two tablerunners which I picked up at the end of last year’s Fall season. I love the colors…very soft and warm. I knew the floral print tablerunners would pair well with plaid chargers. It should be no problem finding plaid chargers, right? WRONG! So I decided to DIY my own, and I shared how I made my own Plaid Chargers HERE.
Once I had the chargers like I had envisioned them, I laid out the Fall runners and gathered my plates. The thrift store plates were added with some Dollar Store salad size plates. I loved the different patterns together.
I created these little Pumpkin Name Tags using tiny tags I found at Hobby Lobby. A little Fall berry wreath surrounded the pumpkin and added a pop of color on top of the plain, white plates.
I have a thing about the combination of Pumpkins and Succulents. I made a Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece last year, also.
This year, I added succulents as well as an orange candle.
I added lots of texture such as berries and leaves.
Everything else was minor touches because this is a small, round table. I used these pretty Fall leaf plates as Bread Plates.
And I love these Acorn Salt and Pepper Shakers I found at Cracker Barrel years ago.
Basic green stemware seemed to work best, as the color of the glasses pulled in the green from the runners.
This tablescape came together really quick. Well, once I had created the Fall Plaid Chargers I could not find. 🙂
Sadly, this table will be packed away tomorrow. This table sees a lot of action in our home. Me and The Hubbs have coffee here every morning, and it also gets a good workout when my Grandloves are here visiting.
But it was oh-so-fun to put together…
And I hope you enjoyed seeing it, too. Thanks for letting me share my Breakfast Room Fall Tablescape with you.
xxoo, Barb
