*(disclaimer: The Wreath Depot compensated me with product, but the opinions
and designs are my own)
One of the many perks of blogging is that you get contacted by some
incredible companies, asking you to try out one of their products or
give a review on one of their services.
Such is the case a few weeks ago when The Wreath Depot contacted
me.
The Wreath Depot has been in business since 1989, when it first started
as a mail order catalog for floral wreaths. Backed by a strong demand for
unique decorative floral and door wreaths, The Wreath Depot has grown
to take pride in crafting wreaths for every season and occasion. They are
known for their full, shapely front door wreaths that add a special touch
to any home décor.
The wreath arrived snugly packed in its own box. I was very impressed.
All that was required was a little fluffing. It consisted of a beautiful mixture
of florals that created a full-looking wreath. There is nothing I dislike any
more than a puny wreath. You know the ones I mean?
I hung it from a length of burlap ribbon. Doesn’t it just pop against my
red door?
Here is a close-up, and as you can see they do not spare on the florals.
It is thick and hearty. (sounds like I am describing a soup, huh?)
I love the little sunflowers scattered all over. This 22″ wreath is called
Sweet Hanna and retails for $89.99. If you make wreaths, you know
full-well that by the time you buy all of the components to making a
wreath, you can spend well-over $100.
If you are a “bow” kinda gal – I got you covered there, too.
Bam!
Insert one burlap-weave bow.
Ain’t she purty now?
If you think about it, making a wreath is kinda like getting dressed for a
special event. You start out with a fantastic outfit. You’ve just finished
putting on your lipstick, and you take a final peek at yourself in the mirror…
.. and you remember those new earrings you bought. Man oh man, they
would match this outfit perfectly. So you grab the earrings, and while
you’re in your jewelry box, you grab the silver bangles that you hardly
ever get to wear. It’s a special occasion, right? Why not?
First on goes the earrings. Are they okay with your hair? Do they show
enough? Yep, just as you thought…earring perfection.
You’re not sure about the bangles. Will that be too much? The last thing you
want is to look like you’re attending a Bling-a-thon, right? So you try on a few
just to see…
You like the bangles. But, how many? One isn’t enough…20 may look
borderline Cleopatra. So, you add just a few…
It’s the perfect amount. You check yourself one more time in the mirror.
Not bad. You started out with a beautiful outfit to begin with, and the
jewelry just added to it.
You pick up your favorite perfume, spritz it in the air and walk into it.
Finally, you check for cat hairs.
Where’s that sticky roller thingamajiggey? And you’re done. You’re ready
for your big event.
And you couldn’t be happier with how you look. You go girl!
You’re gonna knock ’em dead.
I added:
(1) Burlap-weave bow
(1) strand multi-colored Fall berry garland from Michaels
(3-4) pieces of grapevine from my yard
(4-6) Faux Pumpkins and Gourds on Wood Skewers
from the grocery store
(8) Pheasant feathers from Michaels

Barb, your wreath was so pretty to begin with but when you embellished it, it came out even prettier!! It’s so hot here right now I’m not ready to decorate for fall but in the next two weeks…it’s coming. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for one of those pretty wreaths.
