Comment on Making a Good Entry…. by Sally@Enlightenment for the Sleepy.
A beautiful post. We’ve finally tackled decorating our entryway after three years of white, white and stark white. It has made a huge difference. When you walk in the house it now feels like a home. We avoided it for so long because of the amount of work involved in a double height landing, but it was so worth it. I love the entryway with the red door although that is totally different to my entry!, hugs, Sally xxx

Making a Good Entry….
A very interesting post. I have an antique pine chest with and a blue willow bowl to hold our keys. Hopefully our entry gives an insight of what guests will see in our 1730’s home.

PS I did not get this by email, so your feedburner is probably not working.

could not agree more!! I love my entry and I think it totally tells the beginning of the story that is about to unfold, or at least I hope it does. You have been here so you are probably a better judge than myself, xo Kathysue

Colonial Williamsburg {a step back in time}
Barb, what a wonderful trip, that palace I unbelievable and the gardens amazing. I have several family members that go there year after year for vacation and they never tire of what it has to offer. They are also huge history buffs!

Looks like a lot of fun, Barb! I’ve never toured there, just visited. I would love to go if I could get my homebody family away from the beach!

Barb I love the picture of you and your honey, great picture of both of you. Oh how I want to go back, you did a fabulous job showing us Williamsburg. The Rockefeller kitchen cupboards reminded me of my color in the kitchen, and oh how I want that sink and stove. I am a throw back of the 1930s I guess. Loved my guided tour with you,
