"Before and After" Met Monday
Oh gosh. I have mixed feelings! The “after” is beautiful. But the “before” IMHO was beautiful too. I just have to keep reminding myself that there are 1000s of furniture pieces like this hutch that are still in their original condition/color/etc. and not to take it to heart. It’s like seeing someone paint over knotty pine… it kills me! ๐

New to your blog, but Holy Mackerel – what a great job on that hutch!!! I was going to pay a visit to my local Trading Post to pick one out and refinish it – now you’ve inspired me to “upholster” it too. I would have NEVER thought to do that. Thanks for the idea and I love your blog!

I love the hutch, I love the table and the centerpiece, and I love the way you have decorated the hutch. I seriously, stopped and looked at each piece on the hutch and the way you brought it all together! Awesome, just awesome! The photo is so warm and welcoming:-)

Colonial Williamsburg {a step back in time}
Barb, what a wonderful trip, that palace I unbelievable and the gardens amazing. I have several family members that go there year after year for vacation and they never tire of what it has to offer. They are also huge history buffs!

Looks like a lot of fun, Barb! I’ve never toured there, just visited. I would love to go if I could get my homebody family away from the beach!

Barb I love the picture of you and your honey, great picture of both of you. Oh how I want to go back, you did a fabulous job showing us Williamsburg. The Rockefeller kitchen cupboards reminded me of my color in the kitchen, and oh how I want that sink and stove. I am a throw back of the 1930s I guess. Loved my guided tour with you,
