Whenever the holiday Season is approaching, I know we will be attending quite a lot of parties and celebrations, so I like to prepare a basket of Hostess Gifts which I can grab as we walk out the door. In the spirit of Southern Hospitality, I generally like to give a food gift along with a nice bottle of wine. Here are some of my favorite Homemade Edible Gifts for Christmas.
‘Tis the Season for Giving! And I can’t think of anything more special than something that has been lovingly prepared by hand and packaged with pretty papers, boxes and ribbons. These are some of my favorite recipes and I think you will love these, too.

One of recipes I make every year are Cinnamon-Sugared Pecans.
(Here is the recipe.)
This year, I plan on putting the pecans into small glass canning jars with a fringed-burlap circle, tied with a gingham ribbon, and a cute, handwritten tag. I prefer a French type of lidded jar called Weck Jars, they are my absolute fave type of jars.

Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Sticks
These are so pretty and so easy to make. Simply dip pre-purchased pretzel sticks in meltable chocolate then roll in Christmas-colored sprinkles, press on festive red and green M&M’s, or drizzle with more melted chocolate.
*Dark Chocolate Melts | *White Chocolate Melts
*Christmas Sprinkles | *Red-Green-White Christmas Confetti
Just think how pretty these would look in clear, cellophane bags tied with a pretty ribbon.

Or, how about packaged in a cute box…
Best of all, no baking is involved. These can be whipped together easily in an afternoon and placed in a clear, cello Chinese Take-Out Box with a cute gift tag.

I this last year for the first time, and now this recipe is a keeper! Fudge. Cookie Dough. Chocolate Chips?

I’ve been looking for a recipe that would be in a frying pan. Kind of like the cinnamon nuts made in a mall, that can be used on almost any kind of nut and doesn’t heat the house with the oven being on. I love to bake but unfortunately I don’t always bake smart…in cooler months. Thank You
