White Cherry Fizzes
Well, hello! My name is Jennifer Carroll, and I
regularly blog over at
and I’m super excited to be sharing some fun
recipes and entertaining ideas with you once a
month over here at The Everyday Home!
Barbara and I are both all about finding joy in
everyday, so no matter the season, I’m on the
lookout for easy ways to make at least some part
of each day feel a little bit extra-special. There
are so many joys to summer – the longer days,
the sunny skies, the theory of a
slower pace (although I’ve yet to enjoy that!)
but I especially love the fruits of summer.
These days. the farmer’s market is a veritable
treasure trove of freshly harvested goodness.
One treat that my daughter and I especially
love to make (because they are so easy!) are fruit fizzes
and today I want to share my
White Cherry Fizzes with you.
There are two ways to make these.
The easy way and the super easy way.
The first way is to grab a pack of cherries, pop the
pits out and drop them into a blender.
Give them a quick zip-zip, add some sparkling
white grape juice and presto-chango, you have a
delicious semi-homemade fruit juice.
Pretty simple, right? Now, I told you there was an
even easier way than that. Ready?
At the store, while you are picking up a bottle of
sparkling white grape juice, grab a bottle of cherry
juice too. Pour in equal parts (or to taste) of each
juice and garnish with your fresh cherries!
Either way, you end up with a sweet drink – perfect
for hot summer days – that is both delicious and
fancy enough to serve to guests. Do you love a
quick and easy short-cut recipe like this?
