Comment on Ten Ways to Add Farmhouse Style to Your Suburban Home by Sandy.

I love farmhouse style! I opted not to go with a farmhouse sink (which I love) because a few neighbors had them and said water dripped all over the lower cupboard and warped the wood. I’ve never heard this before but ended up going with stainless steel. I also have a granite countertop that I love. Wood wouldn’t work well in my kitchen but I sure do love the look!

Creating a Fairy Garden
Barb, I love Fairy Gardens! I just created one for myself in an old terrarium that I had from my mother’s memorial when she passed away. We used a garden theme at her memorial. You’re right, you can create the fantasy garden of your dreams in the tiniest of containers or bigger if you so desire. I’ll have to check out your store because I’ll be creating more gardens next spring and it’s never to early to stockpile for next year’s garden! I would love to have one in my house but don’t know where I would put it. This was a great, fun, and whimsical post.

Kitchen Tour
Oh my gosh! Where the heck have I been? I should have been hanging out here on your blog a long…..time ago! I was just trying to figure out how to use google + tonight and realized I’d been following you in one of my circles so I headed over today to check out your blog. I’m blown away with your decor and relaxed writing style. I also checked out your HGTV Youtube video and loved it! I’m following along with Blog Lovin, Facebook, Pinterest (have been all along). I was away from blogging for 5 months and just got back to it a few weeks ago. You’ll be seeing a lot more of me here on your blog commenting away!

Miss Mustard Seed Interview and Book Giveaway
Barb,

This was a fabulous post! I love farmhouse style too but I also love Coastal cottage. My kitchen leans towards farmhouse. I remember visiting my grandparents in upstate New York on their then 200 y.o. 70 acre farm. I loved hearing those dairy cows moo! I have such a hard time with rafflecopter entries. I have never mastered Twitter but I hope to learn one day. I’d love to win a copy of Miss Mustard seeds books. Barb, is that adorable photo of you? What a cutie with a beautiful smile. I’m following along on your blog and I already had you in my google + circle. Still trying to figure out how google + works too!
