July 4th Party Ideas

 

 

I can’t believe that in just a few weekends we will be slathered in watermelon juice,

running around with sparklers and celebrating the birthday of this great Country.

I love to bring family together – because this Country was built on a foundation of love of God and family values.

We don’t go all out for the 4th, but I do try to decorate with flags and flowers and

table decorations to get into the spirit.

 

I thought I would share a few ideas from some of my favorite bloggers.

I love that all of these ideas are doable and don’t cost a lot, either.

That leaves more money to spend on sparklers.

1) Fourth of July Free Printable 

Desiree at The 36th Avenue created this amazing printable and she is

allowing you to download it for free at her site. This would make a beautiful

statement on your drink table.

 

2) Red, White & Blue Patriotic Mason Jars 

And speaking of a beautiful table –

are these painted mason jars not AMAZING?

Linda @ It All Started With Paint has them displayed with plasticware, but they could be

used with flower bouquets or to hold all those sparklers you’ll be

able to buy because you used these inexpensive decorating ideas.  🙂

 

3) Patriotic Painted Terra Cotta Pots

The gals at Lolly Jane created these pots and I simply adore them!

 

4) Red, White and Blue Trifles in Jars

I know!  You kinda want to lick the screen right now don’tcha?  🙂

Kelley from Eat. Drink. Eat. shared this simple but oh-so-cute

dessert idea.

 

5) Red, White and Blue Drinks 

Burgers and brats are great…but you gotta have something to wash it

all down with right?  Look at these drinks in mason jar mugs!

patriotic-themed duct tape.  It ain’t your Mama’s duct tape is it?  🙂

Jenn at Girl in the Garage shares a slightly different take of

a Red, White and Blue Tablescape which adds elements of the beach and a

touch of bohemian.

 

9) American Flag Log Candle

Julie at Redhead Can Decorate says this project was

almost FREE!  Now that is my kind of budget.

14) Kathe at Kathe with an E shares her version of a spirited July 4th Table.

15) Laura from Pet Scribbles created this Patriotic Printable and she is sharing it with

you as a free download.  Several of these could be used to create a cute banner, as well.

for an Pop of Fun at your party the kids will love

20) Patriotic Picnic with Paper

PAPER!  Who Knew! 

Instead of using one plain color, mix and match several different patterns

to create this fun and festive look – with very simple clean-up.

Now that’s what I call a great party idea!

 

 

No matter how you celebrate – whether it’s with a large gathering of family

and friends – or just you and a loved one sitting quietly at home watching

fireworks on TV…please remember all the sacrifices that were made to

make sure that this Country first became the Land of the Free,  

because we are also the Land of the Brave!
