Years ago, I never really thought much about the products I cleaned my home with.
I purchased the harshest cleaners or the product-of-the-month that promised the best results. If it smelled like “pine” or “lemons” or even better – “lemony pine” (ha!) it had to be good, right?
Then, my oldest grandson gets diagnosed with ADHD, followed closeby with me being diagnosed with AutoImmunes. And I started reading and researching foods we were eating, and products we were using.
Hello Eye Openers!
I just never truly thought about all the deadly chemicals I was exposing myself and my family to. Enter Homemade Cleaners. I rarely buy chemical laden cleaners any longer. I wanted to put together a collection of some of my favorite cleaners. Enjoy!

View CommentThank you for the list of house cleaners. I’ve been having skin issues lately and wondered if the cleaners I use contribute to the problem. I’ll definitely try some if these!

View CommentAfter years of buying expensive cleaners the light went off in my head. I remembered my mother and grandmother used simple things to clean, usually starting with a worn out t shirt or towel, etc, baking soda, vinegar, lysol, etc and concoctions they made up. Seeing your blog just re-enforced their smartness and frugelness. Thanks for more receipes for more products. Can’t wait to try a few. peace, norma
View CommentExactly. I think we need to go back to the old things a lot more in our lives. 🙂 My grandmother and mama always used plain white vinegar and newspaper to clean windows.
