immunity to the allergy-producing flora
pretty logical to me. Plus, I also love the idea that I
know who is producing my honey.
I’d love to hear what you add.
I am joining Michael at Rattlebridge Farms for
Foodie Friday.
Also, I am happy to announce that the

Barb, this looks so good especially with the added almonds. Never tried that. The orange liqueur sounds good, too.

Barb- That looks great- I NEVER put anything on our fruit salad either. If we are having a big “do” I will usually cut the watermelon into a basket shape and just keep refilling it with fruit as it disappears. I have never added the almonds but I will now. I have to make a big fruit salad Sunday for my daughter’s party…..yum…xo Diana
ps…good luck with your blogger’s convention. xo Diana

Oh your fruit salad looks sooooooo good. I am with you, I usually throw in everything I have. I just sprinkle a little sugar and then toss. Congrats also on the conference. Sounds like such fun. Hugs, Marty

This sounds so delish, Barb. I think I’d best march myself over to Sprouts and pick up a few things!

Fruit is my favorite food and you know how I serve it most of the time, but I do like my Grandma’s fruit salad and it had walnuts in it and mayo. it was served at the holidays and I ate it until I almost got sick. A fun way to serve fresh fruit is to drizzle it with apricot syrup and serve it over frozen vanilla yogurt. But my most favorite is fresh off the vine or tree. We always have lots of fresh fruit here as you well know, miss you,

Yum! That sounds really tasty and simple. I need to find the local honey. My allergies are in full force right now. 🙂

Sounds so perfect! Thanks for sharing! I’ve never thought to add honey or a squeeze of lemon, but I am in complete agreement that mother nature does NOT need Mayo, or “dressing” on her perfect fruit!
I am trying this soon!
