How do you explain to an almost 3-year old little boy that the birdies are not gonna starve if you remove their bits of leftover seed that the squirrels have not demolished, and replace it with a bed of straw and some pretty gourds and mini pumpkins?
Even when you explain that Grammy needs to “borrow” the birdbath for her Fall decor.
Nope.
It was just too upsetting to him. The poor little birdies would not have “any-ting” to eat.
“But Grammy wants to add these touches of Fall along the sidewalk so that as everyone coming to your party walks towards the front door, they will be greeted by these little hidden surprises.”
Crickets.
“Hey boys, how about a frozen fruit pop?”
Thank goodness for fruit pops. Soooo much more important than birds. 🙂
My Fall porch reveal coming tomorrow, along with a fun giveaway you’re gonna LOVE.
Stay tuned.
