Easy Homemade Spider Pizza
Using a store-bought pizza dough and some basic pizza making ingredients, you can easily make this creepy-crawly “spider pizza” your little ones will love.
Almost every weekend when the babies are over we have pizza. We used to order out, but a) it just wasn’t that good; b) it took forever to arrive, and c) it cost a small fortune. Several months ago I surprised them with “Make Your Own Pizza Night” and they LOVED it. So, now we have started a new family tradition. This past weekend, we did it a little differently. I showed them a picture of a Spider Pizza and they squealed with delight. It was so, so easy to make.
Here are the ingredients you need:
- Pizza Dough
- Pizza Sauce
- Cheese
- Pepperoni
- Black Olives
- Green Olives
- Roasted Red Peppers

- Pizza Cutter (not your mama’s pizza wheel)

- I sooooo need this Pizza oven!!!
Making the pizza is pretty self explanatory. I used a frozen dough I thawed and then stretched out rustic style. I pre-cut black and green olives to create “spider legs.” I used roasted red peppers for the Pepperoni Spider legs.
The babies loved making their own Spider Pizzas and although each spider wasn’t perfect they didn’t care. The first thing they asked before all of the pizzas had been made or even eaten was “can we do this again next weekend.” 🙂 I think I have found a great idea we will make a new tradition, especially this time of the year during Halloween.
Now if I can figure out a sneaky way to add in some more veggies without them knowing it. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this post and my “Easy Homemade Spider Pizza.” xxoo, Barb
