Life is busy.
The holidays are even busier. So anytime I can make an easy recipe or create an easy decor item, I am one happy gal. I love to make wreaths. I save almost every element from all of my wreaths and centerpieces to recycle for other projects. I have made some pretty elaborate wreaths, but I have also made some pretty simple wreaths, too. This is one of the wreaths I made last year and I am sharing it again today. You will see this same wreath show up in our home soon – when I start sharing our 2016 Christmas Home this week. Stay tuned! xxoo, Barb
………………………………………………………
Busy is a “four-letter word.” At least it is this time of year. How many posts in the past few days have I started out with…”our decorating is almost done?” Well, I was wrong. All those times. 😀 But with God’s will and some sunny skies…I really do think I can wrap things up tomorrow. Because we are all so incredibly occupied right now – I thought I would share this simple and oh-so-easy to create
Busy Girl’s Easy 3-Step Christmas Wreath
I am not one who usually takes the easy way out. As you know, I flip houses when I am not up to my eyeballs in garland and glitter and then blogging about it. I have learned that taking the easy way out isn’t always the best route to take. But, when it comes to wreaths… easy is another “four-letter word” that I like. Plus, when the wreath turns out looking amazing – and like you spent a wallet full of Washingtons – even better! I started with a plain ole’ (shall I say it?) “cheap” wreath.
Actually, it was one I already had on hand and had kinda seen it’s better days. Next, I purchased a pretty garland.
I will tell you I splurged on the garland a bit. I did get it half-price at Hobby Lobby, though. But since I used a wreath I already had on hand I was still ahead.
The style of this garland totally blends with the “snowy” Christmas theme we have going on throughout our home. Next – I laid the garland on top of the wreath and using some of the wreath’s tendrils, I adhered the garland to it.
You could also use some green floral wire.
Once it’s attached, just do a bit of fluffing. The third and final step is totally optional. Adding a bow. Would you like to know how I make my bows? I promise it’s the fail-proof “no bow skills required” method for making bows. Let me know by commenting below and I will even try to make a little how-to video.
That’s it. 3-Steps and you have an amazing wreath you own the bragging rights to this wreath. I hung it in our front Living Room Window, which I will be revealing to you tomorrow.
So you can go from this to that…
… in the same amount of time you can brew a cup of Cinnamon-Vanilla Coffee. Here is another quick peak of my Living Room…
Isn’t he beautiful? I can’t wait to show you the rest of the room. Thanks for letting me share my Easy 3-Step Christmas Wreath with you.

Great wreath idea. I had some extra garland last year and I rolled it up and put it in a large basket for extra greenery around the house. It takes creativity over cash…though cash does help. ha ha

LOL, yes, cash is a huge help! Always. 🙂

You are so talented!!! I love learning new and easy ways to decorate and would enjoy watching a “how-to” video on bow making. I have two older wreath forms to re-do this year and could use some pointers.

I love the “just do a bit of fluffing” … that’s what all you clever, creative people say … like cooks who bake amazing cakes, etc. “Oh I never measure anything, it’s just a bit of this & a tad of that … You’ll know when it’s right”
View CommentSome of us can’t ‘fluff’ … the same as we don’t know “when it looks or feels right” … or anything else that we can’t measure, or see a VERY clear video of how to achieve something …. like that bow! 🙂 So Yes Please … I’d love to see a video of how to make it … please.
I love your page … but no idea how to achieve things without the clearest of instructions. 🙂 Cheers & thanks, Wendy from Oz …
