Comment on Cozy Winter Decor in the Living Room by Lisa Matarazzo.
What a gorgeous living room. I’m afraid to say that mine is somewhat on hold. 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 parrot – it’s all I can do to keep it clean and I’d rather not invest in lovely furniture right now. It is very lived in and cozy and I’ve been told more than once that it’s like home from my kids friends which is such a nice thing to hear. I always want people to feel at home there. Thank you for sharing and giving me lots of ideas!

Pulled Pork with Southern Bourbon BBQ Sauce {giveaway!!}
Hi Barb – It’s good to hear you know when you need to take a rest and take care of yourself. I know how hard it is to let things go when you’re trying to get things done. I’m looking forward to trying your bbq sauce.. I truly love good bbq and sometimes low and slow, although delicious, is so hard to wait for as well as heating the house up when it’s hot outside. The best thing you mentioned is making a double batch of your sauce in the crockpot – I’m doing that this week. What a great idea! I’d love to try making the pork in a pressure cooker. Best Wishes to you, Lisa
20+ Projects for Valentine’s Day
Yay! I’m so excited – these are terrific. I love the driftwood heart (I’m not far from a beach) and especially love the treat bags made from maps. I have a small collection of both that I was saving for a project so those both may be in the near future.
Easy Shepherd’s Pie Recipe
Hello – I totally agree with you. I love comfort food and shepherd’s pie is one of our favorites. It has been a long while since we had it the old fashioned way because of food sensitivities. Your recipe sounds so delicious. We avoid dairy so we use pureed sweet potatoes with coconut milk. It’s not the same as the real creamy mashed potatoes, but it does the trick most of the time. Thanks for sharing – I may have to splurge and try this with cornbread!
DIY Laundry Room Cubby
What an inspiration – I love your laundry room! And thank you so much for the adorable printable. I think I have time this weekend to re-do mine. It’s such a depressing site and needs a major overhall. I do have a cubby that fits in a small space there, but it could use some love and maybe casters too! 🙂 Thank you for sharing.
DIY Pumpkin Candleholder
There are so many reasons to love the Fall. Living in New England – Fall is the best season in New England! Apple picking, cooking, fall foliage, beautiful weather, pumpkins, baking pie, long walks on the many trails through the woods. It’s such a beautiful time of year.
