Christmas Napkin Ring Printables

These easy Christmas Napkin Ring printables are an easy but beautiful way to add a touch of farmhouse to your table. The chalkboard background in black and red is classic and traditional, too.

My Christmas tablescape this year pays homage to the farmhouse style of our dining room, but doesn’t stray too far from my traditional roots.  Classical reds and touches of black set the tones of color scheme of the room as well as the tablescape.  This is an easy DIY project. All you need is a home printer and either a chalk marker or an online design program I will share.

Christmas is just a bit simpler this year.  I am actually proud to say other than a few new lights and a bag of fake snow, I have resisted the urge to spend anything this year on new decor.  If you knew how hard that was when I walked into Hobby Lobby and Michael’s, you would know what  feat that was for me.

I will share my complete Dining Room with you a bit later this week, to include my Farmhouse Christmas Mantel.  I am giving you a little sneak peek at my Christmas Tablescape today.  I have dubbed this tablescape “bits ‘n pieces” because that is how it was pulled together.  With a few bits here and a few more pieces there.  That includes these easy DIY Christmas Napkin Printables. I have a little extra surprise for you at the end, too.

HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT:
I took a plain design with no names (because I didn’t think you would want name tags with
my family names on it – lol) and put them on a sheet of 6.

These will print out in the same size as shown in my pics, about 2 1/2″.  I printed mine out on an 8 x11 sheet of heavy duty card stock.

Next, use a White Chalk Marker to write your names,  or if you are familiar with Canva or PicMonkey which are online editing programs, you can a) download the printables above and add the names using the font desired.  Then, simply cut them out.

As you can see, this year I am using a red and black scheme in our Dining Room.  I love these black and white buffalo check napkins, don’t you?

I simply tied the napkin with some black and white baker’s twine, tucked in some red berried and a sprig of greenery then laid the printed nametag on top.  You could glue this top of a plain wood napkin ring, etc.  But, I kept it easy.

Remember I said I had a little surprise for you?  I made some matching printables which I added to my centerpiece.
These could also be used as napkin rings or cut them out, punch a hole and add baker’s twine for some easy DIY Ornaments.

I just tucked them here in there into my centerpiece to match the napkin rings.

How simple is that?  I love the old time feel of these with the chalkboard background.

I can’t wait to share the rest of the Christmas Tablescape and the rest of the Dining Room, so please join me all next week for the big reveal.   Thanks for letting me share and I hope you enjoy these prinatbles.

xxoo, Barb

Barb, you’re a genius! Back in the 80’s, when I first got married, I had lots of napkin rings. Those got sold in one of the garage-sale purges of the 90’s. . . now I wish I had them back! But simply tying napkins with twine and then placing one of these cute printables on each napkin? Presto! You’ve got a napkin ring and a place card all in one! You’re the hostess with the mostest.

Thanks so much for the printable! Every blessing on you today.

LOL You’re so sweet. I was thinking if you tie it with a ribbon at the top instead, your guests could take it home with them as an ornament. I need to add that to the post. LOL

Man, great minds think alike. I am doing a touch of Black and White on my dining room table also.
It does red a world of justice.
    Have a happy holiday,
