The purpose of this award is to give it to someone who is showing gratitude or a good attitude (“if life hands you lemons, make lemonade”) within their life or blog.
2) nominate at least 10 blogs that show great attitude and/or gratitude.
3) have your 10 pass it along to 10 more!
Now I must say, I have only been blogging a few months. I follow quite a few blogs, and even though I may not always comment on their blog, I enjoy stopping by when I get a few free moments at work. So, if I have nominated you and you have already been nominated for this award by someone else – that’s okay. It means you are doubly special! 🙂

…and someone who deserves this award probably more than anyone I know, and who has the uncanny ability to make lemons out of lemonade…
I also have wonderful news to share about my Babies!
Blake and Amanda have been given their schedules for when they will be coming home from Iraq. The end of a very long 15-month deployment is almost at an end. Amanda will be arriving to Ft Carson, Colorado Springs (their base) on Feb. 3d, and my son, Blake will be arriving soon after on Feb. 7th. (At least that is the schedule as of 4pm today.) This could vary by a few days either way, and if you know anything about the military – it will! Cole and I will be flying out to Colorado right before they arrive for a wonderful and much anticipated reunion. I can’t wait!! I promise to take lots of pics of the homecoming, cause there is nothing more emotional than to see a throng of crying wives, moms, dads, sons and daughters running to hug their loved ones after a long absence. Me included. 🙂
Make Each Day a Great One…Barb

Oh Barb, that is such great news! Your heart must be bursting with joy! Can’t wait to see your reunion pix. We are not that far from Ft. Hood, and so we’ve seen alot of this over the last several years. It is the most amazing and touching sight, and really brings home the sacrifice these men and women make for us every day. God bless them! Hugs, Kathy
