Blessed.
One of the many words I would use to describe 2015.
Survived.
Another word I would also use to describe this past year.
That said, I am optimistic and hopeful and even look forward
to greeting the New Year.
Because after all, my first descriptive word was Blessed.
This is my final “Year in Review” post.
It’s a short one because my two largest DIY’s
were whole house renovations and flips on four homes.
Here are Five DIY & Design Projects from 2015.
…………………………………………
The first project was from one of our first of four flip houses
we completed in 2015.
No. 1: Inexpensive Batten and Board Wall Treatment
I have since added this to our own kitchen.
It’s so simple and offers such an impact for the time and effort.

This next post is not so much about DIY, but it sure did help me
get my guest room ready for guests this past Summer.
No. 2: Ten Ways to “Hotel-ify” Your Guest Room
……………………………………
This Summer, we added a gorgeous IKEA Farmhouse
sink to our kitchen…
No. 3 : Ikea Farmhouse Sink
…………………………………………
I took a curbside find and turned it into a cute
Farmhouse style table.
No. 4: Farmhouse Bedside Table
and finally…
A tour of our #3 Flip House for 2015…
No 5: Before & After Flip House Tour
Hope you enjoyed this quick look back at some of
my best DIY & Decor Projects.

Hello Barb and Happy 2016 to you from Tulsa. I love all your projects. You are one amazing lady and so talented. I have a questions about the bird prints over the sofa in your most recent flip. Where did you buy them? Very lovely and just what I need for a spot in my home. Can you help me find some for my house? Be blessed.
View CommentHi Patty – I bought these at Hobby Lobby some time this last year. I have not seen them since. But, maybe you can try doing a search for them on ebay, etc? Maybe even Amazon? I hope you can find them, I love them. 🙂 Happy New Year, and thanks for all of your kind words. xxoo, Barb
