Welcome to the final post in the 2016 Year in Review.

What a year it has been, too.  It’s been a year of sadness and a year of happiness all at the same time.  All in all, I have been abundantly blessed throughout it all, and give thanks to our Lord above. I want to take a few minutes to thank each and every one of you who visit with me here at The Everyday Home.  This blog is for YOU!  I try to share projects and recipes that I think you will enjoy and want to use in your own home, and I can’t wait for 2017.  May each of you have a blessed 2017, too.  xxoo, Barb

……………………………………………………………..

September 2016

The Summer garden was still going strong, especially with peppers, so I  made a huge batch of different Pepper Vinegars.  I shared my recipes….  Easy Pepper Vinegars.

………………………….

I started slowly adding in a few Fall touches here and there.  This Plaid Pumpkin Centerpiece in the Foyer was one of the first projects I did.

…………………………………………..

This recipe for Pumpkin French Toast with Blackberries and Orange-Infused Syrup was a big hit with everyone!

…………………………………

I not only revealed our new Fireplace Makeover, but also shared my Rustic Fall Mantel. Loved our mantel this year!  I also shared our Dining Room Buffet for Fall.

……………………………………

Finally I shared How to Use Inexpensive Floral Picks to Update a Fall Wreath.

…………………………………………………………………………….

October 2016

I shared my list of Ten Things You Should Buy for Christmas Early.

…………………………………….

This is one of our fave dinner recipes… One Pot Chicken Provencal.

……………………………..

After I shared our Rustic Fall Mantel, I had a lot of inquiries about the Mercury Lamps I used on each end.  So I put together this shopping guide with 10 Mercury Lamps Available Online.

…………………………………………..

I had fun crafting these DIY Fall Plaid Chargers for my Fall Tablescape.   You can see that tablescape HERE.

……………………………………..

And here is my Rustic and Elegant Fall Tablescape in the Dining Room.

……………………………………………………………..

November 2016

A blogger’s life is to always be a few steps ahead when it comes to decorating for the Holidays, so the pumpkins were packed away and out came the Christmas decor.  The first project was my Foyer – dressed in a Frosty Winter theme.

………………………………………….

This year’s Christmas mantel was quite different than I had originally planned, but at the same time it turned out to be one of my faves.  Here is our Festive, Plaid Christmas Mantel.

………………………………………….

Our Breakfast Room table got dressed with a Jolly Ole’ Santa Christmas Tablescape.

…………………………………..

In between Christmas decorating, me and The Hubbs did a little project in our Laundry Room – a DIY Laundry Room Cubby.

………………………………………………………………….

December 2016

As Christmas was nearing, I was winding down here at The Everyday Home.  The final project I shared was our Old Fashioned Christmas Front Porch.

……………………………………………

We had a huge Christmas Party at our home this year, and I set up this cute Coffee and Cocoa Bar and shared a free Printable, too.

………………………..

I adored Our Living Room for Christmas this year – dressed in reds and blues.   I also shared some easy DIY Sweater Stocking Pillows.

……………………………………….

Old Fashioned seemed to be the theme this year. The Breakfast Room got dressed in an Old Fashioned style as well.

………………………………..

Finally, I shared my Pretty in Plaid Tablescape in the formal Dining Room.

………………………………………………..

That wraps up the 2016 Year in Review at The Everyday Home.
