10 Easy to Maintain Houseplants
Yup, I’m one of those that can grow almost anything. Except African violets. I’m known as The Plant Lady around here. I go to many plant swaps and also have plant sales. I love the asparagus fern and it’s sisters, the ming fern and the foxtail fern. Mine are known as patio plants because I don’t keep plants indoors. My cats would make a mess of them, so they stay outside and go into the greenhouse for the short winters we have. As much as I love plants, I’m paring down my inventory because it’s just too much work to continue. I want a hobby that lets me be indoors when it’s 103 outside. I’m not as young as I used to be and working in the garden is getting harder and harder. But I will always have some plants in my life!
Chapter Four – At the Water’s Edge
Makes me want to plan a trip there for the magic coffees, warm fireplaces, pubs, and yes… the rain!
15 Painted Coffee Tables
I’d love to paint my large square coffee table, since it’s very scratched from years of abuse from kitty. These pictures give me some ideas of what I might do to change it up a bit. Thanks, Barb!
At the Water’s Edge – Chapter One
Cool, Barb! Can’t wait to see what happens. One misspelling…. a few paragraphs down from the top when she puts her hand on the window PANE….not PAIN. Personally, I’d love to know where Kate is, right now, so that I can wonder about the cultural differences she will encounter when she gets to England (even though she’s been before.) Does she live in the Southwest ? New York ? Norway ? Just one of those questions that popped into my head.

I don’t decorate either, although I do have a garden flag I need to put out. But all these cute projects make me want to do something! I shared for you on Pinterest and Facebook. oh! and I love the idea of you writing! I always have a book going, and most of the time it’s a romance.
