Someone told me I had goofed on the recipe. Yes, the potatoes are on top. My fingers were typing quicker than my mind. Yes, I use canned peas and carrots for this one but normally I use the pea/carrot/potato combo – you can use any variation you choose. It will still taste the same. I will get the recipe edited, thanks for letting me know.

Hi Julie,
Basically everything is already cooked and warm once assembled, so no cooking is really necessary unless you add cheese and then you will want to place it under a broiler for a bit to melt the cheese. When you reheat the frozen one, I would recommend thawing it prior so you don’t have to heat it as long and the potatoes don’t dry out. Hope you enjoy it.
