Hello, my Everyday Friends.
I am taking a few more days off. I am just not up to blogging
again so soon after losing my Daddy last week. So, a dear friend of mine
offered to step in and help me out with a Guest Post. I was just at her
home the day before my Daddy passed away. I love her dearly and her
home I absolutely stunning. Please make sure you take a chance to visit
her new home! I will see y’all soon in a few days!

Hello Everyday Home friends! I’m Suzy from the Worthing Court Blog.
I’m honored to be visiting with you today!
In case we don’t already know one another, my hubs and I have been
completely renovating a very dated, twenty-year old, new to us home.
We’ve finished most of the major stuff – now I’m going through and
putting the finishing touches in place, one room at a time. We’ve gone
from green, gold and red in our previous home to a fresh farmhouse
style in our current home. Yes, you can do farmhouse in an
urban setting! I’ve finished the kitchen, breakfast area,
laundry room, family room and screen porch and right
now I’m working on my dining room.

In addition to working on the dining room, I’ve been getting my red,
white and blue on lately. Between Memorial Day, Flag Day and July 4th,
there are plenty of patriotic holidays for me to decorate for. In fact, I’m
planning to decorate my whole back porch for a get together that we’ll
be having at my house soon. In preparation, I’ve put together a few
easy patriotic crafts (with tutorials) that I’ll be using. Maybe you’d like
to add some patriotic decor to your home too.
