This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gladiator GarageWorks for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I don’t think I ever realized how many garden tools I have.
Gloves, spades, plant markers. Just to name a few.
Then, there are the weed killers and organic fertilizers and
seed packets. What is a gal supposed to do? Well, for one
thing – she can gather it all together in a nifty metal Garage
Cabinet that works perfectly for holding all of her Garden Gear.
It’s time for Spring Cleaning!
How to Set Up a Garden Storage Cabinet
It wasn’t until I started gathering all of my garden supplies that I realized
just how scattered around they were. Some were in the garage; some
located in our walk-out basement near the garden; some were stowed under
the deck steps. I also had a few sitting in a small bucket on the back deck.
It was a virtual “Garden Tool & Supplies Scavenger Hunt.” It just wasn’t working.
The other day, a very kind delivery man showed up at my home with the
most amazing, highly rated Premier Series Tall GearBox by Gladiator GarageWorks.
This GearBox has a great industrial style. Perfect for
holding and storing Garden “gear.” I immediately loved the locking
mechanism, which would allow me to lock up some of the garden supplies
which I needed to keep away from the Grandloves and furry babies, too.
The two adjustable shelves allowed me flexibility so I could store
taller items and shorter items, too.
Chalkboard Garden Markers
Don’t you love these little chalkboard signs? Well, I decided
to make them garden markers.
They are perfect for sticking into the soil because they are plastic!
You can use a permanent white marker to write on them
so it won’t wear or wash off in the rain.
One Versatile Cabinet
I love that I can have a cabinet that is so versatile and utilitarian, but
at the same time it’s just plain “purdy.” Can a metal gear cabinet
be considered “purdy?”
I think so, especially when it’s filled with a reclaimed wood box with
pretty, garden gloves.
A succulent in a Mason Jar…
My Farmer’s Almanac and brightly-colored gardening tools.
And some fave Garden Books…
But, this 6′ x 2′ Gear Box has a job to do, too.
Uses for the GearBox
First of all, it helps keep my “dirt” dry.
Holds my seed collection…
And stores all my fertilizers and sprays.
The front of the doors feature this industrial looking Tread Plate pattern.
The handles are recessed but large enough to easily open, even with
garden-glove wearing hands.
Here is a close-up….
I am sure as the Summer months rolls along, this cabinet will be “amply”
filled with even more supplies. I guess I have come to the realization that
I have a Gardening Tool fetish. (more on that later)
For now, I am enjoying my Premier Series Tall GearBox turned Garden
Storage Cabinet.
I would love for you to check out Gladiator GarageWorks.
They truly make a quality project. If and when me and The Hubbs are ever
brave enough to tackle our garage (pray for us!) – I hope to put some more of
their cabinets and GearBoxes to use. If you would like to see everything that
Gladiator GarageWorks offers… you can check them out here:

How cute and functional. I love the “dirt” tin. Who knew even a box of dirt could look so nice. You’ve done a great job !
