Comment on Succulent Containers by Pat Peele.
Love this! I use live ones outside but want to use “real” looking ones inside. I once had a silk rose in “fake water” in the master bathroom and my husband commented on how long it was lasting. My husband is by profession a horticulturalist and writer/photographer.

Private: Chapter Thirteen – At the Water’s Edge {a romance story}
Lovely! Very well written. This is one of my favorite chapters. I love to read anything about the small villages and people in England. We were only there a couple of weeks on our own. We have many fond memories and friends. We lived in New Zealand for a few years and enjoyed many similar adventures. We stayed for several days at an old family home that was the smallest Best Western in the world(12 rooms).. It was like being a guest in a private home. It was at Stoke on Trent near Bath. Those four days would fill a book. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter……
Private: Chapter Four – At the Water’s Edge

Iced Mason Jars
This is lovely. We just purchased a “frosted” jar yesterday with lights inside. I have wanted to use Epsom salts like this but was afraid that with humidity, the salt would liquidity and ruin furniture. Does the glue seal it from moisture?
I have enjoyed your work since you wrote the “Everyday Decorator” and the forum on decorating Sampler Magazine site. That must have been over 13 or 14 years ago. I even made a potpourri faux cake that you gave directions for when you lived in Colorado. I live near Clemson in SC.
DIY Iced Winter Branches
These are really lovely! I will use them in my winter scape.
