Welcome to
Home{work} Wednesday #11
(sorry I am late tonight everyone…family issues)
This week is just flying by. I mean like it has literally sprouted wings
and has taken off in mid-air.
Are there times when you just can’t keep up? Is it a “getting old” thing?
I did just turn 49 so maybe that is what happens in the year before
you turn the big Five-Ohhhhhhhh! (nooooooo!)
The main reason it feels like this week is flying by is because I have
been working feverishly to get ready for this…
Oh yes indeedy! I am going to Haven!
And I get to see these lovely Bloggers and sooooo many more and I just
can’t wait!
I’ve had a million and one things to do to get ready – and trust me, I
will be “getting ready” right up to the last minute. Are you like that too?
“Hello, my name is Barb and I am a procrastinator.”
But, for now it’s Party time… and I hope YOU guys didn’t
procrastinate this week and got all of your Home{work} projects
completed. I can’t wait to see what you have to share.
But, before we kick off the party…let’s take a quick look at last week’s
Top 3 Most Viewed Projects…
My dear friend, Pat, at Back Porch Musings created a beautiful
Spring Harvest table. Pat’s tablescapes are always gorgeous, and
this one is no exception.
2) Cottage Meets Industrial House Tour
I am so proud of Anne at Design Dreams by Anne. She is renovating her
darling cottage one room at a time, much of it all by herself, and I am
both amazed and proud of the work she has done. You will love
her tour.
Speaking of Haven – I met Lisa of Budget Design Girl last year at Haven.
Talk about one beautiful lady – both inside and out! She is a cancer
survivor and is an amazing person! I can’t wait to see her again
in a few days!
Okay ladies, if you were featured please feel free to grab this button…
One more thing… there is an “aweshum” giveaway going on right
now at The Everyday Home. Kelly, my Gardening Contributor – wrote a
great post yesterday about her Gardening from A-Z series, and
she is giving away a beautiful cookbook and Jar of Jam…
and Farmhouse Decor is throwing in a Set of 3
French Grain Towels.
There is still plenty of time to enter… just go HERE!
Ok, I know you are ready to party, so let’s get going.
(Oh, please link back to one of the host blogs. No link back, no feature!)
And you are welcome to add this to your post or your sidebar.

Thanks for hosting again! I hope you have fun at Haven. I swear I will make it there one year! I so want to meet Sarah. TDC is one of the first blogs I ever read. Actually it was #2. Censational Girl was number 1, but I felt a connection to Sarah’s blog. Liked her sense of design and really loved her sense of humor! I envy you getting to go!
As for the 49 thing, I am turning it in a couple of weeks. My memory was already crap, so I expect it will just keep on getting worse. And my hearing sucks and …………………..haha!
Have a great trip!
