Did everyone enjoy my first guest post from Suzy at
Worthing Court? Don’t you just love her updated beach condo?
They have put so much sweat equity into this “home-away-from-home,” and it is simply beautiful.
Next up is another Blogger friend who kindly offered to help me out during this week’s little Bloggy break. You will love this great post. Thanks so much, Trina, for helping a girl out.
Take it away, Trina.

Happy Wednesday, everyone! My name is Trina Miner from A Few Miner Adjustments. I am so excited to be here today. And I have a little secret for you…this is my first guest post. The Everyday Home is such a wonderful place to get cozy and spend some time, so I was thrilled when I was given this opportunity. Thanks, Barb! Enjoy!
Fall into Christmas Planning
There is definitely a chill in the air right now. However, my feet disagree. They will not let me stuff them into shoes just yet. It’s sandals till there is frost! And although my feet still think it is summer, it is a good time to “fall” into Christmas planning.
In past years, I have been known to start shopping for Christmas in January. In past years, I have been the first on Facebook to announce that I have started my shopping. That was not the case last year or even this year for that matter. The kids are busy, playing sports and going to birthday parties and I have little energy time to think about stocking stuffers now. Can you hear the teeny tiny violins? However, the countdown has begun. So let’s make a few Miner adjustments this year and get in the right mindset! Who’s with me?
Here are some tips to help your holiday planning go smoothly.
1. Set a budget
2. Make a list
3. Use Pinterest for ideas
4. Shop over time
5. Let the internet do the work for you
6. Stop shopping

Great tips, Trina. Nice seeing you here at The Everyday Home! You early planning gals sure to put me to shame. By the time that Christmas is over, I am DONE and don’t even want to think about it. Every year I say I’ll do better…we’ll see. lol

I have pieces for Christmas projects already. This is my first Christmas for blogging so I have to prepare. I prepare early anyway.

Seems so early to be thinking about Christmas, but I guess I have made a few purchases already myself. This year I’m keeping a list on my phone, so if I’m out and see something, I can look at the list then and there to know if I “need” it.
I’d love to have you link your post to Seasonal Sundays.
