“Let’s Go Shopping Saturday!”
I did not realize that I have an affinity for original commercial packaging.
I don’t like keeping dishwashing liquid in its “Dawn” bottle, for example.
I don’t like keeping bars of soap or bath salts in the
original packaging. They are so much prettier
when stored in a glass canister.

The same goes for laundry soap.

So, imagine the ideas that have gone through my head ever since I saw the Milk Bottle Carriers which I carry in my online shop “…details!”
Here is the larger 3-Bottle Holder –
One of these could easily hold a large bottle of olive oil and two vinegars. How pretty would this look on your kitchen counter?
Or, one for laundry soap, one for clorox and one for fabric softener. THAT will spice up a laundry room!
Originally $26… this weekend, while supplies last they are 20% off!
—-> $20.80
Same for the 6-Bottle Carrier.

I can see this filled with salt, pepper, dried basil, rosemary and other spices. All within an easy reach, and soooo much prettier than….well, this…
Just saying. 🙂
The 6-Bottle Carrier is regularly $18, but again – while supplies last – they are 20% off, too.
—-> $14.40
Supplies are limited so get one while you can.
* Prices will be reflected in the Shopping Cart.

Barb- Im’ like you with not being fond of original packaging! I put my dish liquid in a glass bottle years before Martha showed us how to!

love the tall apothecary jars! I agree, commercial packaging should never be on display, and it looks like you have tons of wonderful options in your store

I am the same way. Everything looks better in a glass bottle. Your milk bottles and carriers are very fun. I have a few vintage milk bottles that I pull out now and then. I have an old hoosier that I want to use when we finsih our basement. Hopefully my bottles and carrier will get to stay out to play.

Hi! I am a new reader of your blog, but I just wanted to say that this post reminded me of an encounter with my father-in-law right after my wedding almost 27 years ago. Anyway, I was serving a hamburger lunch and put a bottle of ketsup on the table. He recoiled and told me in no uncertain terms that the “common container” did not go on the table. 🙂 Kinda scary for a new bride, but I did “up my game” a bit. Anyway, I agree that everything looks better out of its commercial packaging – although I’m still not sure if ketsup belongs in a bowl with a spoon. 🙂 Your table looks lovely, BTW! Cheers!
