There are thousands of pictures on Pinterest.
I have pinned several hundred myself.
But, every now and then you see
something which just strikes a cord in your
soul and gives you that “ahhh” moment.
Such as these Memory Stones.
These were used at a wedding, where
guests wrote special messages for the
Bride and Groom.
But wouldn’t this be a great idea for
almost any occasion.
What about a Baby Shower?
Messages to the new Baby.
What about a Graduation Party?
Messages to a loved one giving him/her
advice for the future.
But why do you need a special occasion?
Wouldn’t this make a great
Guest Book in your home?
How wonderful would this be if everyone
who entered your home, left you a
greeting – written on stone.
I am pretty sure some of mine would say:
“Enjoyed the visit but please keep
your dust bunnies in cages.”
or
“Lovely home. I especially enjoyed
the kitty-cat hairs on your sofa.”
or
“I will send my doctor bill from where I
stepped on the Lego in the middle of the night.”
Well, I hope they weren’t ALL that bad.
What if you made “Memory Stones”
and wrote down special occasions and
moments you wanted to preserve?
For example, on Jan 1st of each year,
write down thoughts and wishes and
things that have been special to you
and your family, and on New Year’s
Eve – read these stones to remind you how
the past year has been.
I just love this idea.
Don’t you?

I love this idea. I can see a glass bowl on a table beside my door to the garage and each morning- stopping to say a little prayer- reaching into the bowl with eyes closed- and taking a stone for the day. I’d write positive affirmations on mine so we’d all carry a wonderful message with us . In the evening put it back . I think it would be a great way to start each day and a sorta exciting to see Which message you’d get each day.
thanks so much for a fabulous idea~!

Oh! This is a fabulous idea! I’m so glad you shared it. My guest stones would probably say something like “enjoyed the weeds in your garden”, or “I like the new way of keeping all flat surfaces full”:) I’m following now, hope you’ll follow me too.
