I’m not sure.
But, I love the little added attraction to my guest bath.
Did you know a good friend of mine, Sally from the Seashore adds seashells to her wire basket – by the seashore.
So she offered me one for my basket…
… to go with the fluffy white towels.
The Hubbs and I bought this large conchshell in the
Bahamas on our honeymoon 20 years ago. A local was selling them at the docks out of a skiff.
No, Sally didn’t sell it to us.
This is the only room of our home which is
dedicated to the Sea – even though we live about 20 mins
away from several beaches.

Sanibel Island seashells on a pretty white plate…
… and some blue beach glass.
I’m not sure if a new wire basket makes white
towels even fluffier…
I think Sally would agree.
Hope you are recovering from your Easter celebrations.
I am still exhausted!
Think I will put one of those fluffy towels to use
after a nice chamomile bath!
Blessings, Barb

I had our one and only bathrm remodeled a yr. ago. The walls are gold and I did put sea shells above the toliet on the glass shell.
View CommentI have a dish shaped like a top hat upside down in a pertty pale peach color I put shells in and then took stands of white pearls used for decorating cakes and put in the corner of the dish and let it drape over and on to the glass shelve. Then beside the dish I have a small dollie and two shells med. size. It just gives that feel of the ocean.

Barb- I love your basket and I think the towels MUST be fluffier if they are showcased in that. I am glad you have one room that gives a nod to the ocean that is so close. xo Diana

Love the blue and green orbs…I covet mine as my mom carried them on the plane all the way from her trip to Alaska…what a mom!…They are antique Japanese fishing net floats…of course anything Japanese is a treasure….
Sally and I love your bathroom with the fluffy towels!!

Barb you know how I feel about stacks or rolls of fluffy white towels. I have a whole board dedicated to white fluffy towels stacked on Pinterest. I love love your white towels in a basket and all the seaside touches. The glass floats are another favorite of mine, they fascinate me for some reason.Did you notice Lorie has a red one, pretty unusual, but perfect for her house. Pretty pretty touches, xo Kathysue

Barb, I absolutely love your wire basket and the shells. It’s so funny because I put my shells in a wire basket…mine isn’t large enough for bath towels, but good for wash cloths. I’ll bet the wire basket DOES make the towels more fluffy. 🙂 The large conch shell is a wonderful souvenir of your honeymoon.
