Our little, coastal “Snow Show” – although a rarity, lasted about 24 hours and produced about 2″ of snow. It was just enough to make everything beautiful and pristine for a day – and before it started melting.
Here he is sporting his new snow hat.
BIIIILLLLL! The dead palms are still out there! :-/
My herbs have a snow blanket. Good thing rosemary is so hardy!
I love this topiary form covered in ice.
A solemn bench sits off in the trees… this is our front/side yard and where the deer usually come to eat the shrubbery leaves and the deer corn I leave them.
Here is Happy Snow Baby laughing because Grammy said she was gonna put snow down his pants if he did not put his mittens back on. He hid them behind a bush in the snow.
And here is Sad Snow Baby with his hands hurting from the cold. 🙂

Barb, the snow is gorgeous, and the pictures of Cole are priceless. When my boys were small they use to say their toes hurt, I would try to tell them they were cold and they would tell me no, they’re not cold, they just hurt. lol I think darling Cole found out the same thing. Hugs, Marty

Oh Little Cole is sooo sweet! It looks like he had so much fun in the snow! We just got a few little flakes, but it all melted 🙁
Jameson was so sad.
THANK YOU so much for “following” my itty-bitty blog! Imagine my surprise when I saw MY FAT FACE on your sidebar…lol!

I’m happy for you that you got snow, I know you love it. Mr. Cole looks like he was having fun until the reality of the COLD set in, poor baby. I love looking at pictures of snow and THAT’S IT! Hope you have a great day and that your mamma’s doing better. Hugs, Kathy

Hi Barb, 🙂
I ‘m glad you enjoyed your award. Well deserved for sure!
I think I have the exact same pictures. LOL!
We took ours when it was really coming down thick and we had alot of coverage. I know we won’t see that again anytime soon.
Are you in HF? I swear I remember your home. We used to live in AV and would always walk and bike there.
It was always one of my favorite places to dream of living. That is my dream area to live in J’ville that’s for sure. Your yard is huge! I don’t remember yards being that big in HF so maybe I’m mistaken.
Lovely photos!
Cole is a precious living doll.
Thanks for your kind words and understanding about my doggies. You made me feel better that I’m not so silly for missing them so much. All your kitties are gorgeous by the way.
Talk to you soon, ~Melissa

Hello, I’m looking forward to WW. What a great idea you had.
5 acres in HF! ~WOW~ You are a lucky family.
Yes…We are still waiting.
Soon I hope. I’m having trouble sleeping. I just want to know.
Aw…I am bummed about NRP. 🙁
I have bought so many great things from them over the years…
Gosh the economy is scary. At least military jobs are pretty secure. I HOPE…
Have a good one. ~Melissa

You got more snow than we did – but that is ok. What we had was enough – I know, I am not a snow person! 🙂 Your Grandson looks like he is enjoying it all. Have a great evening.
